Nemazee Equine Services provides professional hoof care and equine massage throughout Multnomah and surrounding counties in Oregon and Washington.

Horses have been a constant throughout my life. I grew up riding and competing in hunter-jumper events and spent my high school summers as a veterinary technician assistant at the Helen Woodward Animal Center Equine Hospital in Southern California. Later, I worked at Jaylyn Downs, a polo pony stud farm in Queensland, Australia.

After returning to the United States, I completed an MFA in Production Design at CalArts and spent fifteen years working in theatre, film, and stop-motion animation. Since moving to Portland in 2019, I contributed to the feature films Wendell & Wild for Netflix and Wildwood at LAIKA as an armaturist, designing and fabricating the internal metal skeletons that allow stop-motion puppets to move.

After fifteen years in the arts, I returned to the equine industry and my lifelong passion for horses. I graduated from Oregon Farrier School and continue to develop my skills through apprenticeships with AFA Certified and Certified Journeyman Farriers. Alongside farriery, I provide equine massage while completing certification through the North West School of Animal Massage and preparing for the National Board of Certification for Animal Acupressure & Massage (NBCAAM) examination.

I believe in taking a holistic approach to equine care. Every horse is an individual, and I strive to understand the whole animal rather than focusing on one part in isolation. Through farriery and bodywork, my goal is to support each horse's comfort, soundness, health, and overall well-being while working closely with owners, trainers, and veterinarians.
