Armadillo | Armageddon | Armadillidiidae
Armadillo | Armageddon | Armadillidiidae is a new play by Stevie Anne Nemazee to be directed by Brian Hashimoto and designed by Stevie Anne Nemazee and Stephanie Petagno.
Organized as vignettes around the rules of archaic Victorian parlor games, puppets, masks, and actors reenact disjointed, pivotal events leading up to the death throes of an abusive relationship in a phantasmagorical landscape.
Nemazee wrote Armadillo | Armageddon | Armadillidiidae while in residence at MacDowell in 2019.
In 2021, the project was workshopped at Automata in Los Angeles with the aid of a Make|Learn|Build Grant from the Oregon Regional Arts & Culture Council.
